Huffington Post

OUR RECOMMENDATION: GUILTY (Not Kindle Compatible)

AMAZON SUBSCRIPTION PAGE: Huffington Post

WEB ADDRESS: http://www.huffingtonpost.com

BLOG'S DESCRIPTION: Created by progressive syndicated columnist Arianna Huffington and media executive Kenneth Lerer, this blog also features regular commentary from Harry Shearer and John Conyers who write about politics, journalism, business and entertainment. Celebrities are also frequent contributors, with a roster that includes Bill Maher.

OUR REVIEW:

THE GOOD: Not much at all.

THE BAD: Other than the fact that this is a liberal Soap Box (rather than a non-biased news organization) - Only short excerpts of most articles are available, with a link to the remainder of the article online. This defeats the purpose of the Kindle, which shouldn't need a constant internet connection and cannot render most web pages satisfactorily. Additionally, the current articles online are not available on Kindle at the same time, in spite of frequent updates.
